Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of crafters.social ("the service", "we", "our"). By creating an account, you agree to these terms.

1. What the service does

crafters.social helps you create and publish social media content. You upload photos and videos, our AI processes them into platform-optimized posts, and we publish them to your connected social media accounts on your behalf and on a schedule you choose.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate information when registering
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure
• You must be at least 18 years old to use the service
• One person, one account — no shared accounts

3. Your content

• You own your content. Everything you upload remains yours. We don't claim any ownership or intellectual property rights over your materials.
• You grant us a limited license to process, transform, and publish your content — solely to provide the service. This means: cropping, editing, composing videos, generating captions, and posting to your social accounts.
• This license ends when you delete your content or your account.
• You must have the rights to the content you upload. Don't upload content you don't own or don't have permission to use.

4. Social media accounts

• When you connect a social account (Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook), you authorize us to post on your behalf.
• You can disconnect any account at any time — we immediately lose the ability to post.
• You are responsible for complying with each platform's terms of service.
• We are not responsible for any actions taken by the platforms (account suspensions, content removals, policy changes).

5. AI-generated content

• Our AI generates captions, hashtags, and editing decisions. While we aim for quality, you are responsible for reviewing content before it's published (or accepting the risk of automatic publishing).
• AI-generated captions may not always be perfect. We recommend reviewing them, especially for the first few posts.
• We don't guarantee any specific engagement, follower growth, or business results.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
• Upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property
• Use the service to spam, harass, or deceive
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service
• Resell access to the service without our permission

7. Service availability

• We aim to keep the service running reliably, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime.
• We may need to perform maintenance, which could temporarily interrupt the service.
• Social platform APIs may change or have outages — this is outside our control.

8. Termination

• You can leave anytime — delete your account and all your data will be removed.
• We can terminate your account if you violate these terms, particularly the acceptable use section.
• Upon termination, we delete your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
• We are not liable for content published to your social accounts that you approved (or chose to auto-publish).
• We are not liable for actions taken by social media platforms regarding your accounts or content.
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you by email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of the EU member state where the service operator is established.
